Meet Our Staff
Cathy McNally
Director of Storage Operations
As the Director of Storage Operations Cathy is responsible for the leadership and management of our self-storage properties as well as the development of new facilities. She is an active volunteer, currently serving on the board of the Fox Valley Patriotic Organization assisting with events, promotions, and fundraising. In her free time Cathy is an avid gardener, enjoys yoga, exercising, cooking, playing with her dog, and traveling.
Shannon Quigley
Assistant to the Director
Shannon works closely with tenants in all our locations ensuring lease requirements are met and tenants are experiencing a smooth and stressless storage experience. She also manages our social media accounts as well as graphic design needs. She specializes in assisting customers in complex cross-county moves, utilizing our vast U-Haul Affiliate Network. Shannon has lived in the Kaneland area for most of her life. She likes to spend her free time with her friends, family and her two cats. She enjoys nature, traveling, trying new foods, reading, and playing video games.
Ben Stephens
Customer Service Specialist
Ben joined the In Towne Self Storage team in 2020 and soon became a customer favorite for his professional and friendly nature. He states his favorite part about working at In Towne Self-Storage is interacting with our tenants and customers and making sure they are well cared for when renting storage or a U-Haul. Ben has lived in the western suburbs for most of his life. He enjoys outdoor hobbies like hiking, biking and rock climbing, and spends most of his free time with family and friends.
Shelly Nelson
Customer Service Specialist
Shelly assists in our St Charles location on weekends, when we find many people have moving and storage needs. Interestingly Shelly began storing will us years ago and then decided In Towne would be a fun part-time job! We are delighted to have her, and our customers appreciate her kindness, humor and sunny disposition. When Shelly isn’t working her full time job as a Dean’s Assistant for District 303 she enjoys rock climbing and spending time with family and friends.
Louie the Husky
Shop Dog, Mascot, Beggar of Treats and Taker of All Day Naps
Louie is the beloved rescue husky mix of our Director, Cathy. He can usually be found in the location where she is working. Although well into his senior years he can usually be roused from his lengthy naps on our cool concrete floors for belly rubs and of course, treats!
